GUIDO HOCKMANN MD, FRCS(C)

Dr. Hockmann is a Canadian orthopaedic surgeon.  He graduated his BSc(Hons) from McMaster University, followed by his MSc in Pharmacology at the University of Toronto at the Hospital for Sick Children.  He completed his MD at the University of Western Ontario and his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at McGill University.  He then returned to the University of Toronto to complete his fellowship in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow at Sunnybrook Hospital.

 

Dr. Hockmann is affiliated with the William Osler Health System (WOHS).  He operates out of Brampton Civic Hospital, Etobicoke General Hospital and Peel Memorial Centre.

 

Dr. Hockmann is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCS(C)) and is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), tho Ontario Orthopaedic Association (OOA), the Canadian Orthopaedic Association (COA) and the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).

 

Dr. Hockmann acts as the Upper Extremity Sub-specialty Lead at WOHS and is currently working with the WOHS administration to pilot a program committed to increasing public access to specialized treatment for shoulder problems.
